The NANOMICRO programme is embedded in the structure of the HGF, and, as a large-scale research institution, pursuing program-oriented research in the research field "Key Technologies".
NANOMICRO is associated with KIT, an unique institution of top research and excellent academic education as well as a prominent location of academic life, life-long learning, comprehensive advanced training, unrestricted exchange of know-how, and sustainable innovation culture.
The programme is located in the North of Karlsruhe, Southern Germany, at "Campus North" of KIT, formerly known as Karlsruhe Research Centre (FZK).
The scientific work is coordinated by a managing team and executed in the institutes contributing to the programme.
